Resume and headshot tools expand its job-search workflow. Product Hunt calls this the second launch; the original assistant launched in 2024. Product Hunt The company claims 1M+ users, $1M+ monthly revenue, and 5B+ organic views; none is independently verified. A 2025 founder interview reported $16,000 monthly revenue, while a public-record aggregator citing Slovenian filings reports €21,486 revenue for the 2025 accounts of PARAKEETAI d.o.o. (registered July 2025). Entity, timing, or accounting scope may explain the gap; reconcile it before underwriting scale. Hiring page Founder interview CompanyWall The product addresses an important candidate need, but demand is episodic; hidden live suggestions create policy, integrity, and privacy risks. Terms require users to obtain needed consent and follow applicable rules. Terms Final Decision: DD. Verify the scale claims, retention, and unit economics before investment. Available public information does not establish customer growth, margins, CAC, or valuation. Product Overview The target is a candidate preparing for a specific employer or seeking in-call assistance. The Question Bank groups questions by company and frequency; mock interviews ask follow-ups and save transcripts; the live assistant listens and drafts answers. Resume, headshot, and credit-based call tools monetize adjacent needs. The first mock is free. Product Hunt The site advertises browser and Windows/macOS desktop access; mobile browser use is available while a native app is forthcoming. Its current India-locale page shows unlimited use at ₹9,470 monthly or ₹37,900 yearly, plus weekly, credit, and modular plans. Prices may vary by geography; net ARPU and plan mix are unknown. Official product and pricing It replaces generic guides, solo practice, and general-purpose chatbot prompts. Founder and Team Assessment The company identifies Jure Sotosek (CEO; prior Microsoft, Whop, WrumerSound) and Urban Peklar (CMO; prior WrumerSound) as founders. Jure’s founder interview describes a fast MVP and organic short-form marketing; metrics there are self-reported. Company team page Starter Story The Slovenian startup database labels PARAKEETAI d.o.o. operational and bootstrapped; a public-record aggregator lists four owners and Jure as director. Product Hunt credits Domen Perko as 2.0 maker; clarify his role and verify IP, ownership, and group finances. Startup database CompanyWall **Founder Assessment: Relevant execution and marketing experience; ownership and scale need verification. Market Opportunity The initial segment is interview-active candidates in professional, technical, and sales roles. U.S. BLS counted 63 million hires in 2025 across all industries—an upper-funnel proxy, not interview candidates. BLS JOLTS Illustrative, unverified scenario: if 1%–3% of hires represent candidates willing to pay, that is 0.63–1.89 million paid episodes. At an assumed $50–$150 per episode, U.S. annual revenue opportunity is roughly $32–$284 million. These assumptions need validation; the denominator includes jobs with little interview need and candidates may have multiple interviews. Global and ongoing call use could expand the market, but the narrow wedge alone does not prove venture scale. Traction and Growth Signals Product Hunt recorded 122 points and a #14 day rank: launch attention, not product-market fit. The 1M+ user, $1M+ monthly revenue, and 5B+ views claims are company-reported. A founder earlier reported $16,000 monthly revenue; the €21,486 2025 legal-entity filing requires reconciliation, not an assumption of falsity. The Slovenia startup database lists the company as bootstrapped. Product Hunt Startup database A few launch comments praise practice and transcripts but are self-selected. Verified customer counts, conversion, retention, CAC, churn, and margins were not found. Traction Assessment: Potentially strong, commercially unverified. Competitive Position Competitors include Final Round AI and other interview copilots; substitutes are coaches, mock-interview tools, and general assistants. Final Round AI also offers live suggested answers hidden from screen sharing, so concealed assistance is not unique. Documentation ParakeetAI combines prep, a question bank, and live support. Its privacy notice says questions may be extracted from saved English paid interview transcripts, with opt-out controls—a possible coverage advantage that requires consent and trust. Privacy notice Defensibility Assessment: Low to medium. Larger platforms can copy features; durable advantage needs better coverage, coaching outcomes, brand, and distribution. Business Model and Economics Subscriptions, credits, and standalone preparation tools monetize several steps, but job-search usage may be episodic. Transcription, LLM, voice, image, payment, and support costs vary with use. Public data do not show conversion, renewals, CAC, per-session costs, refunds, or margin. The privacy notice identifies OpenAI, Google, Amazon, Speechmatics, Pinecone, and other providers, creating cost and governance dependencies. Pricing Privacy Economics Assessment: Monetization options are credible; retention and contribution margin are unassessed. Unicorn Path Illustratively apply 10× ARR to a high-growth subscription company; actual multiples vary with growth and margin. A $1 billion valuation implies $100 million ARR: at $100 net annual revenue per payer, one million payers; at $50–$150, roughly 670,000–2 million. This excludes churn, fees, discounts, and AI costs. Episodic spending is not recurring ARR. A unicorn path requires repeat use or expansion to ongoing professional calls and global distribution. Unicorn Path: Conditional. Valuation Assessment No current financing round, valuation, or investor terms were found. The startup database labels the company bootstrapped but gives no valuation. With public revenue claims unreconciled, comparable multiples cannot responsibly establish a price. Valuation Attractiveness: Not Assessable. Request verified ARR/MRR, growth, retention, gross margin, burn, runway, cap table, round size, instrument, and post-money valuation. Key Risks Scale claims: User and revenue claims are unverified and differ from the 2025 legal-entity filing. Integrity and platform policy: Hidden live help may violate interview rules; terms place compliance on users. Retention: Usage may stop after a candidate finds a job. Competition: General assistants and dedicated copilots can replicate features. Unit economics: Speech and model costs may rise with usage; margins are unknown. Privacy: Calls, voice profiles, and transcript-derived data require robust consent and governance. Distribution: Viral views may not convert and depend on social-platform algorithms. Pricing: Geographic variation, discounts, refunds, and renewals are undisclosed. This score is not a valuation. Evidence Confidence: 50/100 Product scope, displayed pricing, terms, Product Hunt activity, company-stated founders, and Slovenian entity details are documented. User and current revenue figures are company-reported; the earlier $16,000/month figure is founder-reported; the 2025 entity revenue is from a secondary public-record aggregator and may not represent consolidated product sales. Audited financials, cohorts, CAC, margin, team commitment, and valuation are unavailable. Final Decision: DD Verify scale claims and unit economics before considering investment. Do not infer value from votes or views. Reconciled processor data, retained paid cohorts, and positive contribution margins would strengthen the case; failure to substantiate claims supports Pass. Upgrade Conditions Verify sustained paid retention, repeatable acquisition, positive margins after AI costs, reconciled financials, and acceptable financing terms. Confirm transcript consent and interview-policy risks are manageable. Downgrade Conditions Move to Pass if revenue cannot be reconciled, retention or margins are weak, or organic acquisition does not convert. Hard Pass requires evidence of deliberate fabrication or material legal or privacy misconduct. Questions for Further Diligence Define and substantiate “1M+ users,” “$1M+ monthly revenue,” and “5B+ views” with dated source data. Reconcile payment-provider records and group accounts with the 2025 PARAKEETAI d.o.o. filing; identify other entities and accounting scope. Provide paying customers, MAU, free-to-paid conversion, and 30/90/180-day retention by channel and product. Provide renewal, churn, refunds, repeat interview usage, and revenue mix across subscriptions, credits, and tools. Show gross and contribution margins after transcription, AI, voice/image, payment, and support costs. Provide CAC, paid/organic mix, video view-to-sign-up conversion, and channel concentration. Explain recording consent, employer/platform compliance, transcript-derived Question Bank use, deletion, and opt-out rates. Confirm founder roles, Domen Perko’s relationship, cap table, team size, burn, runway, and current financing terms.
